Soul Purpose Christian Big Band
Director Martyn Stogden BA (Hons) Music & Lit

all for the glory

The Soul Purpose Christian Big Band is London's newest, biggest and most original worship band. We're a squad of around twenty instrumentalists and singers providing professional and uplifting swing, latin and gospel-style praise material.

Trumpets, saxes, trombones, rhythm section, solo and gospel vocals make the Soul Purpose Band a hard-hitting and exhilarating musical and spiritual experience all-round! If your church or faith-based event needs a boost like this, please contact us and we'll do our best to be there for you!

Soul Purpose is looking for new members who share our faith-based approach and who enjoy playing and singing contemporary worship music as well as generally uplifting mainstream material.

Instruments particularly needed: we could do a baritone sax player, tenor sax, trumpet and trombones. Please let us know if you can help us achieve our mission in this way

What standard do you need to be to play in the Soul Purpose Band? We're keen to speak with instrumentalists and vocalists of all levels and experience. Some of our players are top professional performers, and others are students. Our structure enables us to encourage and improve progressing players - so please don't be put off: there may well be a place for you!

Did you know that the Soul Purpose Band can also work as a fabulous performance supplement for Enfield Arts Support Service EASS students?

So, I'm interested, what should I do next?

Please contact us by email or telephone to discuss. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
